Carving Pumpkins

We carved a family pumpkin on Monday night. We all went to pick it up at a store down the street from us. Lincoln was very excited! He quickly became less excited at least in terms of helping scoop out the insides when he saw the inside of the pumpkin and was forced to touch the insides/guts. Lincoln wanted to help carve the pumpkin with the special pumpkin carving knife. We lit the pumpkin that night and Lincoln really loved seeing it light up. Lincoln likes to help do just about everything and is so glad when he gets to help and disappointed if he cannot help us do things like light the pumpkin etc.
