Chris lit a few fireworks at home that night and Lincoln loved them. Even more than that, he loved the big fireworks that other people were lighting off in our neighborhood.

The Fourth of July
We had so much fun on the fourth of July this year. We rented a canoe and went with some of our friends to Holmes Lake (about 10minutes from our house). The weather was wonderful- about 75 degrees and sunny. We had a fabulous barbeque and had only one mild brush with death. There was a slight miscommunication about whether the gas was turned off or not as the tank was being detached from one of the grills. Yes, there was a little fireball and a burning tank of propane, but everyone escaped unscathed except for some singed eyebrows. All of the babies were so good. My sweet Lincoln even took a nap in his pack and play outside. How much better could it get?

I am so glad you updated! You little family is just beautiful - Lincoln is quite the adorable kiddo!!!
